John Soler, a Veteran trader of over 40 years experience working with some of the largest fresh produce traders in Europe came out of retirement to help ECTAD Caribbean and its regional network partners expand marketing in Europe.He was also managing Director for Caribbean Agriculture Trading Company (CATCO) before setting up his own successful company.
John was the first trader to introduce ECTAD to marketing in the U.K, he worked with us on the first trial shipment of Dasheen-Toro 10 years ago. a market which we have held through bad and good periods.
John has already sent his first shipment to new clients in the UK and is planning on sending shipments to Holland and Germany.
While the first phase of John’s marketing efforts focuses on roots and tubers, He is also pursuing the strong interest and demand for some of our Caribbean exotic fruits and vegetables.
